I enjoyed this story and connected with all the characters. I like a book where you find out what happens in the past as you go along and these were my favourite parts. There is a spoiler alert at one point but you can easily skip to the end of the chapter to miss the details. You are alerted to it in capital letters so you don’t just plough in.
The story kept me engaged all the way through and this author has lots of books for me to check out, so I’ll look forward to reading more soon.
