David Baldacci delivers another high-stakes thriller, and this one hits fast once it gets going. Nash Falls starts with a slow, deliberate setup, but before you know it, the story catches fire. Walter Nash isn’t your typical hero. He’s soft-spoken, loyal, and completely unprepared for the chaos that follows when the FBI drags him into their investigation. What I liked most was watching him unravel and rebuild himself under pressure.
The corporate espionage angle keeps things sharp, and Baldacci’s pacing ramps up until you’re flipping pages without realizing it. I did feel the ending came a little too suddenly, but it left me curious about what comes next.
If you like your thrillers full of tension, moral gray areas, and ordinary people forced into impossible choices, this one’s worth picking up. Thanks to Grand Central Publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to read Nash Falls.
