From the cliffhanger of the last book to being enveloped into the action immediately, Redemption was a thrill. I spent about a third of the book pissed off at the AUDACITY of Dane but I was impressed with Abby's refusal to just accept an abrupt lifestyle change. I appreciated how both grew to be their authentic selves with each other, from Abby embracing her dark desires to Dane having vulnerable moments and proving the touch her and die trope is alive and well.
I wasn't prepared for the last third of the book but I was eagerly devouring the pages. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flashback chapters but it gave insight into how Dane maneuvered his way into Abby's life. A solid book and great for dark romance lovers.
*Huge thanks to Julia for the early copy!
