Gripping, tense, and disturbingly believable.
Stalker by Gemma Rogers had me hooked from the very first chapter. The pacing was sharp, and the tension built gradually but relentlessly — just when I thought things might ease up, a new twist would throw me right back into the thick of it. Rogers does a great job of tapping into real-life fears, and the creepy, claustrophobic atmosphere she creates made it hard to put the book down.

I really connected with the main character’s vulnerability and strength — she felt very human, not over-the-top or too perfect. The stalker's presence lingered in every chapter like a shadow, and while some parts were slightly predictable, it didn't take away from the overall enjoyment.

My only small critique would be that a few side characters felt a bit underdeveloped, and I would've liked more backstory or depth in places. Still, this was a solid psychological thriller that kept me engaged from start to finish.

If you're into fast-paced thrillers with a realistic edge and a chilling premise, this is one to add to your list.
