The story of the legendary Salvatore Giuliano, a charismatic bandit and self-proclaimed leader of Western Siciliy who galvanized the nation after World War II. Giuliano became a target of the state, the church and the Mafia as a result of his unorthodox methods of redistributing wealth to the poor.
