TRIGGER WARNINGS: This book contains extreme amounts of “love” and other situations that may trigger individuals who have experienced “love” trauma or with mental health triggers.
This review is for the Bad Behavior Trilogy. The Bad Behavior Trilogy includes: Just Love Me, Just Love Me Now and Just Love Me Forever. The trilogy are very “love” explicit, dark romancy type thrillers with topics that may be sensitive to readers who do not care for these type of books or have experienced “love” trauma or mental health triggers. I would classify these books more towards the dark thriller side than romance even though there is romance involved.
The series starts out extremely steamy and stabby. In the beginning I felt rushed with the amount of information thrown at me and the speed that things were happening. I even had to set the books down for about an hour to soak in everything that happened and to decide if this was a book for me to finish or not. I am not one to really care for the extreme amounts of “love” or the detailed scenes of “love” in these books and honestly feel they usually take away from the story that the book should be portraying.
With The Bad Behavior Trilogy though, the “love” (even the detailed scenes) didn’t distract from the story at all. It brought value to both the FMC and the MMC’s background – which I felt was lacking during the beginning but these scenes helped solidify important information for both. I was confused quite often with the flip flopping within the FMC until it all clicked then EVERYTHING clicked into place and made sense. When the FMC and the MMC connect, they connect completely and wholly – mentally and physically. Their similar extracurricular activities, childhood upbringing and even their dark desires make them explode onto the scene.
If I had given up on reading the series as I initially thought I was going to do, I would have missed out on an exciting and thrilling rollercoaster ride. The books quickly sped up into intense and exciting situations with the FMC and MMC exposing their deepest and darkest secrets to each other and having to learn to trust and love………..and make life changing decisions that brought about a twisted ending I never expected.
What a great debut M.D. LaBelle has made on the dark thriller scene! I look forward to seeing more work coming in from her and seeing her grow in this genre. I see an amazing author sprouting in our midst!!!
Thank you M.D. LaBelle for entrusting me with a free copy of the books to review. All opinions in this review are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily with no promise of any compensation, current or future.
