A Court of Silver Flames
MP3 CD Format
Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.
Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.
The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.
Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.
Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.
Performed by Colleen Delany, Natalie Van Sistine, Jon Vertullo, Aure Nash, Renee Dorian, Anthony Palmini, Melody Muze, Nora Achrati, Matthew Bassett, Shawn K. Jain, Wyn Delano, Danny Gavigan, Karenna Foley, Lucy Symons, David Jourdan, Amanda Forstrom, Gabriel Michael, Patrick Boylan, Michael John Casey, Laura C. Harris, Julienne Irons, Henry W. Kramer, Dan Delgado, Andrew James Spooner, and Carolyn Kashner.

Nesta’s Story. We watch her break and rebuild, develop love for herself and friendships beyond her sisters. Her romantic interest with Cassian develops too after a lot of fighting and hating.
Meanwhile the battle is still not over as the human queens are still on the war path.
Beautiful character development for Nesta. She became my favourite FMC, and it was a nice change from whiney Feyre (who I have never really cared for anyway – don’t know what Rhys sees in her)
This book gave me everything I needed from this series with all the emotions pulled at. I cried several times reading this book and definitely felt a strong, personal connection with Nesta. What she goes through to make herself the person she wants to be rather than the one that uses distractions to numb her emotions, is nothing short of amazing. She’s the strong female lead we all want in this series and her determination and stubbornness give her more grit and likability, for me anyway. The developing friendships with Emerie, the Illyrian who was brutally clipped by her father and wants to prove she is strong enough to hold her own, and Gwyn, the river nymph priestess that has been through hell and also wants to prove that she is more than a librarian, is a true portrayal of strong women banding together to become stronger.
There is also the development between Nesta and the House of Wind. They talk to each other, understand each other and I think, ultimately, it is the house that truly helps Nesta come back fighting.
The spice in this book is rather hot and the way Nesta and Cassian treat each other adds to their dynamic in this context.
