I cant quite get over what I have just read, this book took hold of my emotions and shook them until they made no sense.
Masked Mayhem is the first part of the Behind the Mask Duet. There is no HEA and it ends on a cliff-hanger so be prepared! It is a dark, why choose, stalker romance (SO READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS FIRST) with 4 tremendously hot, possessive, obsessive and protective masked MMC's. Havoc and Crow (Raze and Hawk) have been stalking Whitney (our sassy stripper FMC) since she arrived in Boston, they have always been fiercely protective of her whether it being for the Masked Mayhem society or for their own personal reasons. However, when Red and 13 (Cade and Carter) arrive on the scene, things start to take unusual turns.
There are a lot of twists to this story and it all add to the delicious tension building between Whitney and her 4 admirers. When she starts receiving notes and texts from an anonymous source (possibly from her past), they all vow to protect her and will do anything that is necessary to keep her safe.
The way the characters all intertwine is remarkable and really builds the story beautifully. I will be going back to read Breaking Boston, as although not required to read Masked Mayhem, the characters from that story cross over into this one and it would probably provide some more information to make a few things make more sense within MM.
The spice in this book is to die for, there is lots of sharing and I am completely here for it (I wouldn't be able to or even want to choose between these 4 men). Definitely falls into the 4 chilli rating from me due to dubious consent, drug use and sharing nature.
I cannot wait to read book 2 and find out how everything is going to unfold. KM builds strong characters, great plots and plenty of smutty tension to keep you salivating and wanting more.
