Healing from Life Lessons
~Kindred Path Press

Finding this book was like a new lease on life. After experiencing traumatic losses for the last fifteen years, I have been beat down both mentally and physically. I've tried diet, exercise, yoga, vacations – you name it. Nothing has ever helped.

I'm the strong one. The one who always cares for others during times of loss, stress, or just moments of need. Never setting aside to give as much to myself as I do to others. Never allowing myself the same grace when it comes to loss or me time.

Until now.

Healing from Life Lessons addresses all the factors I personally relate to – traumatic loss, caring for others during those times, carrying the burden, and never allowing myself time to grieve, heal, or decompress. Hearing someone else speak on the same topics, unabashedly, encouraging readers to let go and give themselves grace was so refreshing.

From reflection prompts to tiny rituals that allow you to reflect on past losses, trauma, or things you have carried too much of for too long by yourself, Healing from Life Lessons gives you the permission you often feel the “need" to have before allowing yourself to acknowledge them.

I can say, from personal use of this book, that it's a long road to gain full peace but the first step is the hardest and that is where I am at. Acknowledgement and acceptance, then allowing yourself the grace to heal will be the greatest gift you can give yourself next to this book.

As always, all reviews and opinions are of my own volition. I have not been promised any compensation, current or future by the author or publisher for a fair and honest review.
