The Haven (Outer Banks Secrets #2)

Ahh The Haven! I can't express how estatic I was when I found out we were going back to Arcania! I absolutely loved book 1: The Retreat. Just the whole aura and storyline, gosh I would've loved to have visited it!

Next onto the cover! I thought The Retreat was stunning! This one is gorgeous!

Next up: The Haven. This story is an enthralling novel, that
weaves suspense and mystery throughout the story, keeping readers on the edge of their seats, at least it did for me!! As the story builds and with each new revelation, the tension escalates, driving the story forward and keeping readers engrossed. I absolutely enjoyed the different POVs throughout, along with
the two timelines, which were seamlessly transitioned between the present and the past, gradually exposing the layers of secrecy and intrigue.

In this book we learned more about Leah's character and the 'behind the scenes' so to say from The Retreat.

The author's attention to detail not only brings the characters to life but also adds depth to the story, making it a compelling page-turner.

The ending once we made it through all the twists and turns, surprised me, and caught me off guard, but I loved the shock value!

All I can say at this point is pick up a copy of The Retreat now so you'll be ready for when The Haven comes out Oct 31st!
