The Devil's Tree: A novel

Spooky and some good history! If I have a grumble, it's that the stuff with the supernatural felt like it came in too late and so was kind of rushed and the human side felt a bit...disjointed? Like M should have been better connected with the baddie.

But very rich in description and fast paced. Recommended!

"They said evil oozes from it like puss oozes from an infected wound"

"The Devil's Tree" by Axl Malton is a riveting read that seamlessly weaves together the perspectives of various characters. Malton's storytelling abilities shine through as he skillfully merges the storylines, intensifying the narrative and leaving readers enthralled. The latter three-quarters of the book had me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what would happen next.
