I received this book as an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Death on the Rocks isn't going to redefine the Cozy mystery genre by any means, but it does satisfy the itch for a solid example. I personally appreciated the fact that while the blurb kinda hints at romance, there really was none (at least not yet).
Instead, there was a satisfying, if straightforward, mystery; good characters and a setting I'm excited to explore more of in future books.
And honestly, that's all I generally expect from a cozy mystery.
Definitely recommended for those who enjoy the genre.
