Clusterf*ck
~Brian D. O’Sullivan
What do you even say about a story literally called Clusterf*ck? Simple - it's one. But in the best, most chaotic, completely addictive way possible. O’Sullivan doesn’t just live up to the title - he cranks it up, lights a match, and walks away smiling while the whole thing burns gloriously. This isn’t a clean-cut, perfectly polished ride. It’s a full-throttle, seatbelt-optional, hold-on-to-your-drink kind of story that demands you buckle up or get left in the wreckage.
Four main characters. Four perspectives. Zero moral compass. That’s the setup O’Sullivan drops us into, and from the first chapter, it’s clear everyone’s got dirt to dish and an angle to play. Each chapter slaps you with new betrayals, backstabbing, manipulation, and just enough humanity to make you worry about which side you’re secretly rooting for. He doesn’t waste a single word. The chapters snap forward with the speed of gossip spreading at a small-town bar - addictive, unfiltered, and somehow believable enough to make you side-eye your own neighbors.
The cast is sharp and unapologetically flawed, which is exactly what makes them magnetic. You’ll hate them, then love them, then hate yourself for loving them. They’re messy, funny, angry, and real - the kind of people you’d recognize instantly but wish you didn’t. O’Sullivan writes them with the confidence of someone who knows chaos is more interesting than perfection. The dialogue bites, the motives twist, and just when you think you understand who’s pulling the strings – boom - a new hand takes the rope.
The pacing? Rocket fast. These chapters flip by quicker than a bar tab on payday. The rhythm is unrelenting, the energy contagious, and the tension constant. O’Sullivan doesn’t pad this story with fluff or filler. He slashes right through it with a vengeance, making every page cut clean. The whole thing feels cinematic - like the kind of movie that leaves you laughing one minute and gaping the next. It’s a train wreck, but it’s one of those beautiful ones you just have to watch.
That’s it. This review doesn’t need any fancy words, or my typical self-synopsis. It speaks for itself and is a must-read for anyone looking for a fast-paced, psychological thriller full of twists and good storyline.
Clusterf*ck is available now on Amazon and KU.
As always, all reviews and opinions are of my own volition. I have not been promised any compensation, current or future, by the author or publisher for a fair and honest review.

I enjoyed this! April and David are married, so are Lucy and Eddie. Eddie is a shady dude and uses what he "over hears" to his advantage. He strikes a deal with April, but things don't go as planned in this murderous plot.

April never dreamed that meeting a handsome stranger in her coffee shop would lead to this.
Eddie just wants what should be his. The two realize they can help each other achieve their twisted goals. It truly is one massive clusterf*ck.
Brian’s books never disappoint and this one lives up to that standard. Every twist had me unsure what would happen. This book grabbed me in a chokehold, smacked me across the face, and made me question everything. And honestly, I was good with that.
Truly one of the best. Don’t miss this one!

Wow—this was definitely a clusterf*ck in the best way possible. Brian D. O’Sullivan delivers a wild, chaotic ride packed with insane ideas, lies, secrets, and plenty of death. Every time I thought I had a handle on where the story was going, it veered off into something even more unhinged. The story is fast-paced, the twists keep coming, and the madness never lets up. This is hands-down my favorite Brian D. O’Sullivan novel yet. Buckle up.

Brian O'Sullivan's Clusterf*ck grabs you by the collar, smirks in your face, and takes you on a wild ride that you never want to end.
The super short chapters are like small doses of adrenaline that keep you coming back for more. Each one has a punchline, a twist, or a moment of pure character gold. It's "just one more chapter" and before you know it, you've read half the book.
The first-person point of view that flips in each chapter is what makes the experience incredible. It gives the story a raw, intimate, and sometimes hilarious edge. You’re not just reading about the chaos—you’re inside it, feeling every awkward mishap, every sharp observation. O'Sullivan's character dialogue is so good that you'll forget you're reading but feel like you're part of the conversations (there's none of that overdone "he said, she said, he said, she said" crap).
The pace is perfect and the characters seem like actual individuals you've met (and maybe tried to avoid). From beginning to end, it's smart, snappy, and very exhilarating.
Clusterf*ck is the only choice if you want something clever, fast-paced, and hard to put down!
