This was one of the more lighthearted reads but I stumbled through reading the fast-paced romance and abrupt ending.
I liked Aurora, her being a bright and ambitious chef attempting to secure a job as a chef. She ends up working for Matthew Stone, a grumpy man with a chip on his shoulder from his past. The tension starts early as Matthew decides that he doesn't like Aurora 's sunny disposition but she begins to chip at his defenses by being herself unapologetically.
The spicy moments were okay but there a lack of buildup between the characters and I was not a fan of how they handled the situation with Aurora's best friend Megan. The ending was abrupt but decent for the characters.
