Hugh's uncle died of natural causes. Or did he? Travelling to the Lake District to visit the bungalow left to them as an inheritance, Hugh and Esme expect a week of walking, gardening, and clearing out old junk. Unknown to them something else is waiting for the unsuspecting couple, something malign and deadly.
