The Brothel (Confidante Trilogy #1)

Confidante: The Brothel was all about Angelien’s time working in a brothel. Angelien was a strong and confidant woman and she was the favourite of lots of clients at the brothel. The is a lot of sex in the book obviously. Angelien is a likeable woman and it is a great shame she had to do this just to support her family but it is very understandable as it was very good pay.
This book covers just a month of Angelien’s life as she wasn’t working at the brothel very long and how she tries to get out of it. But still her past comes back to her when her new boss finds out and basically gives Angelien to his wife as a birthday present without Angelien’s consent or knowledge.
It was awful that because they found out what Angelien did previously that they just expected her to do the same with them for free but also she wanted to separate her real life from the brothel work.

Confidante: The Brothel was a very well written book. It was very interesting because it told you how it is rather than sugar coat everything.
I will definitely be reading book 2.
