Jeremy Staymour had it all, a successful career in wealth management, major clients, and a future that looked golden. But in an instant, everything changes. A drive-by shooting leaves him clinging to life, and the people around him scrambling. One of those people is Ricki Valentes, a lottery winner who trusted Jeremy with her thirty-million-dollar windfall. Now her fortune is at risk and she’s caught in a dangerous game she never saw coming.
While Jeremy lies unconscious, the real threats rise. A criminal mob is circling, secrets are unraveling, and no one is safe. The big question is—if Jeremy wakes up, will he be able to stop what's coming? Or has the trap already been set?
Windfall One is a suspense-packed thriller that takes you on a nonstop ride filled with danger, deception, and high-stakes twists.
This book came out swinging. Windfall One wasted no time pulling me in, and once it did, I couldn’t stop listening. It was fast paced in the best way and kept me constantly guessing. Every time I thought I had it figured out, a new twist hit.
I loved how the story played out in two timelines—what’s happening now versus the moments that led to Jeremy’s downfall. It made the whole thing more intense. I truly didn’t know who was pulling the strings until the very end.
There’s crime, betrayal, and a sense of urgency that never lets up. If you like thrillers that are easy to binge but packed with surprises, this one is for you.
