This is a DARK romance, please read the content warnings before you read the book.
I went into this completely unprepared for what was to come but I can honestly say, it was rather bloody fabulous. Our MC's are a mix of murderous monsters and innocent pawns and the way they all intertwine is truly satisfying.
Garrett is dark, obsessive, possessive, a little unhinged, although the won't admit it. A stalker with somnophilia but fiercely protective over what he considers his. He's the perfect mix of passion and danger.
Luke is calculating, manipulative but completely charming with it. There is a harshness to him that gives him a more scary vibe than Garrett, despite not being quite as physically imposing.
And together, these two are all seven shades of sin.
Celeste comes from a damaged past, we don't get too much of her back story but I feel this will be explored more in the next 2 books. She is cautious of everyone but somehow feels a sense of trust with these two completely psychotic masked men.
The chaotic nature of the story in book one keeps you hooked from page one. You have to keep reading because you need to know what is going to happen next. The book was described as being a HEA you wouldn't expect and it is just that. The twists and turns, suspense and chaos make you second guess your second guesses.
I spent several chapters asking myself what the actual eff? because I thought I had figured it out but then read another chapter and realised I hadn't at all.
There is a lot of spice in this book, it starts in chapter one and becomes more and more intense. There is non con and dub con in this book, so I WILL SAY IT AGAIN... READ THE CONTENT WARNINGS FIRST!
There are multiple partners, kink and public displays - which, in my humble opinion, is hot as fuck!
4 stars for book 1 but I can see the trilogy being a 5 star read and I cannot wait to read books 2 and 3.
4 Chilli's for the spicy spice and kinkiness of it all
