Sweet, coming of age story

This was a sweet book with many typical ups and downs that many college aged young adults experience. This was the second book in a series, which makes me think I would have related to it a little better had I read the first one, but there was enough information given that it could be read as a stand alone. I did struggle with trying not to “parent” the characters in this book but from the perspective of a young adult in this situation, it might make them understand that they are not alone in situations such as these.

I will definitely be recommending it to my high school librarian as well as the public library. Definitely worth a read!
