When I started to read Shadows To Light I felt that is was very slow in getting started. I don’t usually go for books with war, the forces and weapons in it, however the blurb seems to catch me as I do like the supernatural. It did take me a while to get into it, but when I did I really did start enjoying the book.
I loved Mira and Jameson’s characters and how things panned out for them. They were both loveable characters. Mira was a strong woman and very determined, and Jameson fell head over heels for her and vowed to protect her.
The book is full of adventure , with the supernatural and futuristic elements too. It really did turn into a great book.
The ending was a little shocking as the ‘madman’ was not who I expected to be but the element of surprise kept it all flowing well.
Now that I have read this book I will be getting the other 4 books in the Shadows of Justice series.
I had not read the other books in the series but that did not seem to pose a problem as it seems that the book can stand alone.
