New Review!

I thoroughly enjoyed “Lie Like the Devil!” I found it to be an engaging mystery that captures your attention right from the get go with the discovery of a man’s body, brutally murdered and hanging in the Boston Common.

Follow Detective Marti and her partner, Neil, as they dive into a dark and intense investigation. The killer is influenced by Puritan beliefs, committing acts reminiscent of historical persecutions.

The book brilliantly weaves historical elements dating back to the witch trials, adding an interesting dimension. Each chapter features a passage from the Geneva Bible, heightening the psychological suspense and unease. It is a fast-paced read that kept me totally engrossed. I found it hard to step away from it.

I appreciated the detailed descriptions and well-developed characters that fully immersed me in the investigation, providing both an engaging and unsettling experience.

If you enjoy murder mysteries with a historical twist, this book is highly recommended.
