This book had me chasing answers like a Final Girl in the third act—heart racing, eyes wide, just one more page…
The author did a killer job pulling me in. The suspense was steady, the pacing tight, and I had to know how it all ended.
But when that final twist came? It landed with more of a whisper than a scream. After all that build-up, I wanted a bang—not a shrug.
Still, a gripping read that kept me turning pages. I just wish the ending had cut a little deeper.
