I was lucky enough to pick this up straight after reading Few Are Angels so I didn’t have to wait to find out what happened next.
Ella is missing, taken by Laurent and Kale and the others need to find her and get her back. While Ella is missing she finds out that the Council has actually ordered for her parents to be killed which would awaken the Arc within her. How does she deal with learning that news and will she be rescued?
I enjoyed this book equally as much as the first, there were twists along the way and it kept me hooked from start to finish.
Again the pace had a good flow and it was well written. I loved that new characters were introduced and I liked the addition of them in the most part.
