But his family are hungry for revenge and will do anything to keep Death from stopping the prophesied with foretold to be his downfall. To survive, Azkiel must find Calista, and kill her before the next Harvest.

If only she would die…

Calista is ruthless. Azkiel is cruel. With the Harvest tournament just days away, their blossoming hatred may just cost them everything.

Night of Death and Flowers is book one in the Gods of Dahryst duet that combines romance, fate, survival, and mystery. In a world where every action can tip the scales, will they fall into salvation or ruin?

A cursed God of Death, a ruthless witch, and a deadly Harvest tournament? Yes please. This book drops you straight into a dark, glittering world where survival is everything and trust is... well, nonexistent.
Azkiel's curse makes every touch lethal, and his missing memories keep him haunted and dangerous. Calista is sharp, cold, and willing to do whatever it takes to stay alive. Their dynamic has tension for days, but I never fully connected with them the way I hoped. The lore is rich, the stakes feel high, and the atmosphere is amazing — but at times the pacing dragged and the emotion didn't quite land.
Still, if you love morally gray characters, curses, ancient prophecies, and a magic-soaked death tournament, this one might be your vibe.
