I recently came across John Durgin's post on a Facebook group and decided to check out his website. I ended up purchasing three books, including 'Sleeping in the Fire', and I must say that the collection of stories is phenomenal. As one reviewer mentioned, the stories tap into your deepest fears and even create new ones, and I completely agree. John's writing style is so vivid and detailed that it creates a visual experience for the reader, making the stories all the more frightening.
