This book blew my mind!
Set during WWII and tells of the atrocities that were the Holocaust.
It was a mix of Historical Fiction along with Magic Realism, with young Sophie who is Jewish being invisible and helping her friend throughout the awful time.
This book made me cry quite a lot, I know of the Holocaust and have read other books about it but this one tugged my heart, maybe because children were involved. It was dark and raw. But I could not stop reading.
