Fatally Yours was a complex read for several reasons but the intriguing plot kept me turning page after page with increasing interest.
Natasha and her friends lead boring lives in a small town where they are harassed by the police and largely ignored by the townspeople for being different. She and her boyfriend August are deeply devoted to each other despite opposition from Devin who harbors a blatant crush for Tasha.
Once a tragedy strikes the group, Tasha's world is flipped upside down and she retreats into a dark, grievous world. She attempts to feel somewhat normal with Devin but after her best friend convinces her to do a ritual, Tasha is thrust into an even darker world as her beloved comes back with a thirst for revenge.
For the most part I liked the plot and the characters. I was conflicted by Tasha but also understood the grief she suffers through. Mandy, Wes, and Scott rounded out the group and I loved the different personalities and drives. Devin was an absolute tool and deserved everything that happened. August's revenge pissed me off when aimed at certain people but damn was it deliciously dark.
Fatally Yours is a must-read for dark romance readers.
