Let Me Out
Buried secrets are coming to the surface...
Annie has avoided returning to her hometown of Ridgewater since the terrible night twelve years ago when her childhood best friend, Giselle, lost her life. But now Annie's brother has been injured in an accident identical to Giselle's, and she knows she must go back.
Giselle's mother - still living in the house next door to Annie's family - is as creepy as ever, consumed with the memories of her dead daughter. Natalie, another of Annie's old friends, is similarly obsessed, desperate to uncover the truth of what really happened that night.
Then Annie and Natalie discover that another girl went missing in Ridgewater around that time. Could Annie's brother be involved? And was there really a voice calling 'let me out' from behind a locked door?
As the connection between Annie's family and the tragedy twelve years before starts to emerge, things grow more sinister - and Annie's own safety comes under threat.
Is Ridgewater about to claim another victim?

Let Me Out by Amanda Brittany
Okay, this one was a ride. The kind that grabs you by the hand, drags you into a maze of secrets, and doesn’t let you breathe until the last chapter. I absolutely loved the thrill of it all — that psychological tension humming under the surface like a ticking bomb. It’s fast-paced, sharp, and sneaky in the best way. Every few chapters made me suspicious of someone new, and honestly, I ate that up.
Now, the “second” storyline… yeah, that one felt like a distraction your brain keeps side-eyeing but can’t fully care about. You know it’s there for a reason — probably to throw you off — but still, I was more invested in the main chaos.
Overall, a gripping, twisty read that scratched my thriller itch perfectly. Amanda Brittany knows how to keep you guessing and slightly paranoid — and that’s exactly why I loved it.
