Folklore or something else?
This book is a novella so if you're looking for a quick read this is it. Took me less than 45 min! This story was so good it left me wanting more, which a sequel should be coming around the end of March.
The story was well written and it kept me engaged the whole time. I was frightened right along with Cora. Great job!
My Quick Synopsis:
Cora decided to purchase a cabin in the Appalachian mountains to fix and remodel so she can rent it out as an Airbnb.
One weekend, her first renter named Luke rents out the cabin for him and 2 of his buddies. Cora tried to touch base with Luke when she noticed he didn't show up. Luke texts Cora the next morning and mentioned them not being able to make it. A few days later they find Luke's body in the woods, near the cabin, mauled to death.
Could it be the beast from the Appalachian folklore?
