Bonnie and her husband Steffan take what’s supposed to be a hiking trip through the snowy Swiss Alps. But when a sudden storm forces them to seek shelter in a remote cabin with a mysterious woman named Annalise, things start to spiral fast. Secrets come out, trust dissolves, and survival becomes less about the storm and more about who’s playing a dangerous game inside that cabin. With tension building and the walls closing in, Bonnie realizes she’s not just stuck in a snowstorm... she’s trapped in a nightmare.

Spillin’ the Book Tea:
Let me be real with you... I’m never setting foot in the Swiss Alps. Nope. Not after this book. Jessica Huntley wrote a wild, twisty psychological thriller that had me second-guessing every single character and motive.

This story throws you right into the action and never lets up. The pacing is quick, the chapters short, and the tension is like a pressure cooker about to blow. I couldn’t put it down because every time I thought I had someone figured out, another layer would peel back. Everyone has secrets, and trust me, you won’t know who to believe.

Bonnie was such a layered character to follow. Watching her start to unravel the truth about the people around her was intense. And Annalise? Whew. That woman is a whole mystery wrapped in a smile. Creepy and compelling.

It’s one of those books that gets under your skin because it’s not just about who’s dangerous... it’s about why they’re dangerous. And the ending? Let’s just say you’ll be thinking about it long after the snow melts.
