Esther Vaughan lives with her roommate Quinn in a Chicago apartment until one day when Quinn wakes up and finds that Esther has disappeared without a trace. When Esther doesn’t return after several days, Quinn goes through all of Esther’s things searching for clues as to where Esther is but is left with more questions than answers. Did she ever really know the real Esther?
Meanwhile in a town outside of Chicago, a mysterious woman shows up at a coffee shop where Alex works and Alex becomes obsessed with getting to know her and finding out who she is and what she is doing in this small town.
I had an idea where the author might be going with this story but alas, there was a twist! I enjoyed this book. An easy and fun read. Interesting story and quick entertaining read. Something different for a change. I thought the author did a good job bringing everything together in the end.
