Keeley Webb’s “Killer Content” is the kind of edge-of-your-seat, addictive thriller with true-crime vibes and darkness that seems real, not for the faint of heart, making this truly a MUST read! I went into it expecting a bingeable suspense but was in no way prepared for just how dark and unsettling this would be!
The premise hooked me right away: true crime podcasts, cold cases, and the lure of social media fame collide in a way that feels both addictively readable and alarmingly believable. I’ve listened to plenty of podcasts myself, and this book honestly made me stop and think about the real people behind those stories—the victims, the families, and what it means when tragedy becomes “content.” That extra layer gave this thriller so much weight.
The pacing is spot-on. Webb balances creeping unease with sharp bursts of tension, sprinkling in enough red herrings to keep me guessing. Every time I thought I had it figured out, I was wrong—and I loved that.
The characters felt like people I know, too. Billie isn’t perfect, she makes mistakes, second-guesses herself, and sometimes dives in too deep, but that’s exactly what made me connect with her. I could see myself in her curiosity and in that dangerous feeling of wanting “just one more clue.”
What I’ll remember most is the eerie accuracy in how Webb captures our obsession with content and fame. This isn’t just another twisty thriller. It’s one that makes you reflect on why we’re so fascinated with true crime and what it costs when we turn pain into entertainment.
Keeley Webb and Killer Content reminded me of why I love this genre: it’s not only about the adrenaline rush but also the direct reflection to our world. Keeley Webb has definitely earned a spot on my must-read list.

This one was a ride—in the best way. I went in expecting a solid thriller and came out genuinely impressed. The pacing? Sharp. The atmosphere? Creepy in all the right places. The cold case at the heart of it? Deliciously eerie. Six elderly victims, one sleepy village, and a decades-old mystery that refuses to stay buried.
Billie, our FMC, is bold, impulsive, and emotionally messy. Her TikTok sleuthing felt fresh, and watching her navigate threats, secrets, and small-town tension kept me turning pages.
And then—that twist. I did not see it coming. It completely caught me off guard… and I can’t say I was mad at it. Honestly? I kind of loved it.
Keeley Webb absolutely nailed the vibe. This is the kind of thriller that lingers. It’s smart, eerie, and emotionally sharp. This book reminded me why I love thrillers: not just for the twists, but for the characters who feel like real people making real mistakes in impossible situations.
So here’s to Keeley—thank you for crafting a mystery that bites back and a heroine who refuses to play it safe.

Killer Content - Keeley Webb Author
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Summary:
Billie Wiley is a true crime content creator for TikTok and YouTube.
When a mysterious comment and letters urges her to look into the string of brutal murders in her hometown that happened in 1995, she’s drawn into a chilling investigation that blurs the line between online storytelling and real-life danger.
As Billie digs deeper, things happen that suggest the killer (or someone connected) is still watching. With the help of her family, local police, and new allies, Billie must balance her growing platform with the terrifying reality of investigating a decades-old serial murder case.
Review:
Killer Content is a modern social-media suspense/detective mystery with elements of family drama, small town mysteries and psychologial suspense. Tone of the novel is mixed (dark atmosphere with warm family moments), very likeable and relatable characters (loved Billie and her family members).
Killer Content was a real page turner with Keeley Webb Author doing an awesome job balancing crime investigation with personal subplots of Billie.
If you are a fan of true crime podcasts, small town mysteries and likeable MC, you don't want to miss Killer Content.

An incredible read that I finished in one day about a content creator who is forced into examining a string of unsolved murders from 30 years ago in her hometown after receiving messages from a follower. The suspense built up throughout the book and kept me on edge throughout and the twists were there at each turn. The characters were all fabulous and I loved Billie as well as Harry, Declan and Tony. Billie was the strong female lead character and we got to see a lot of layers and depth of her. The plot was fantastic and I had no idea what was going to happen or who the murderer really was so I was really surprised! The writing was sharp and on point and I found myself fully immersed in it as I quickly turned the pages wanting more. This is a book that will pick up and not be able to put down! A 5 star read! Thank you to Keeley Webb for a advance reader copy in exchange for my honest review.

Billie Wiley has made her mark as a rising star in true-crime content creation, breaking down solved cases while highlighting law enforcement’s blunders. But on the eve of her show’s one-year anniversary, a mysterious commenter dares her to do more than criticize - urging her to investigate a string of three decade old murders. The connection? The killings happened in Culverton, the small town her family still calls home.

“Killer Content” by Keeley Webb is a suspenseful, twisty thriller that had me hooked from start to finish. The story follows Billie Wiley, a true crime TikTok content creator who becomes entangled in decades-old cold cases. As she investigates, Billie willingly puts herself in danger to bring justice to the victims.
What I loved most is how the tension builds with each chapter, making it impossible to put down. Just when I thought I had it figured out, Webb threw in another twist that completely caught me off guard. It kept me guessing right up to the end, and the reveals were absolutely mind-blowing.
This is a gripping, modern take on true crime fiction that’s chilling. Thriller fans will not want to miss this one!

As a true crime junkie, Killer Content was like my favorite dark podcast, but with the added bonus of not having to explain to anyone why I’m screaming at my cat at 2 a.m. The Culverton murders are seriously creepy, and following Billie as she dives into the cold case had me hooked faster than a true crime rabbit hole on YouTube. Bonus points for familiar names. I almost felt like I was in on a secret handshake. Keeley Webb absolutely nails the mix of small town secrets, true crime obsession, and twisty thriller goodness. I was all in and totally looking for more!
