Deadly-Go-Round Horror Short Story

When the Ripley family takes a long-awaited vacation to the tiny town of Hangman's Bluff, they expect to spend their days enjoying the local history and award-winning gardens. Read, the patriarch of the group, has a secret hope this trip will help his family reconnect and he and his wife can rekindle their unhappy marriage. None of them could've guessed a little mistake would change their lives forever.

It begins when teenaged Rave goes against the advice of a creepy cook by purposely doing the one thing she warned against. Rave then doubles down and goads her little brother into making the very same mistake, leading her family into an unimaginable world of impossible tasks and outcomes. Even the family pet becomes trapped in the curse and none of them can escape without spilling blood, lots of blood.

Serial killers make wicked adversaries, and even worse friends, the Ripley family learns these facts the hard way when they become unwilling slayers themselves in a twisted game, which might bring them together, but will they survive?
