Libitina

I don't know why I waited so long to read this one. I loved it.

Libitina is a start to finish movie in your mind that is well played out. 95% of the time I jump into books with little to no knowledge of what they are about. Libitina is extremely eye-catching, the cover art is absolutely gorgeous which is what drew me in to start. I read the synopsis and my first thought was "this book is religious based and not for me." So I avoided reading this until I won a Facebook contest and the original book I wanted wasn't an option, I owned the others by this author and so I chose Libitina. The beginning of this one is immediately gripping and I found myself needing to know what happened next. I couldn't put the book down. Yes it has religion in it and good vs evil but the story is so beautifully written it was 100% worth the read. There are mixed reviews on this one and I can understand that but had I read those and decided not to read this one I would have missed out on this one. I personally found it to be executed well, the chapter titles let you know that we've jumped ahead and Libby is a beautiful soul that is finding her way. Every book written is not for everyone but I highly recommend Melissa's books and before reading reviews give it a try because it might just be one of your most favorite reads of the year! Libitina is certainly in my top faves.
