Bad Gays

I dunno. I found it rather inaccessible, not because of the content (queer history hardly bothers me as I studied history for my degree and as a demisexual, I am at least on the sidelines of queer even if it is often unknown how by others lol), but because it was extremely wordy. It bounced around a lot and some of the people weren't bad. They were *complex* which would have made a more compelling thesis. Instead it ultimately veered into a critique of far right wing politics which I'm on board with, but some of the Queer voice ends up lost by the end.

Some of the stories and people were interesting. But it takes a lot of work to read and a lack of coherent thread (by the end anyway) undermined their starting point.
