This one was just plain fun. The setup is wild in the best way, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Tilda suddenly ends up with a house on top of a mountain, a pile of clues from her uncle, and a ridiculous requirement that she has to get married to keep her inheritance. Enter Ethan, the very serious park ranger who was not expecting any of this and definitely not expecting Tilda to show up looking like a mountain fairy who wandered out of a dream.
The story is cute and playful, but it also turns the heat up fast. Tilda and Ethan have that opposites at full volume chemistry that makes the steamy moments feel natural. I liked how easy it was to root for them and how the whole thing stayed light and fun while still giving me a reason to care about their relationship. It was exactly the kind of grumpy sunshine story I wanted, and I really liked it a lot.
