A solid 3.5 star read. I stumbled on this one almost randomly, then was interested to see ace rep in romance as it's not something I'd read before.
It was almost more drama than romance for me though (not because of the ace character mind you) but I just never got much real connection between the two MCs. The drama part of the story was interesting, will Abby be able to keep her library job and can Gabrielle get out from under her manager/ex's thumb?
They did share some tender moments, but even where it was activities that Abby enjoyed, I didn't get the warm fuzzies from them. The side-character relationships felt well developed and real, but I really wanted more romantic vibes from this one.
