Shape of Revenge is a slow-burn domestic thriller with plenty of family drama and secrets simmering beneath the surface. Sharon’s discovery of her husband’s betrayal sets off a chain of small, calculated acts of revenge that keep you wondering how far she’ll go. Meanwhile, their daughter Daisy’s storyline adds an extra layer of tension, pulling the plot into darker and more dangerous territory.

That said, while the premise is compelling, the pacing sometimes drags and a few twists feel predictable rather than shocking. The characters are well-drawn, but not always likable, which makes it harder to connect with their struggles. Still, the novel delivers some gripping moments and a satisfying sense of retribution by the end.

A decent read for fans of character-driven thrillers, but it may not fully land with readers looking for fast-paced suspense.
