Once again, we find Cassie Rae in the middle of all the chaos. Seems like she attracts trouble like fireflies in a Mason Jar on a hot summer night. But never fear, Sugar is sniffing out clues and Duke is close at hand.
Now it’s up to Cassie Rae and Sugar to sniff out the truth. With nosy neighbors, porch sitters, and meddlers at every turn, the park is full of suspects and secrets. Luckily, Cassie Rae’s sharp intuition - and the reluctant help of Duke Lawson, the gruff Marine-turned-handyman who’s clearly soft on her - make for a sleuthing duo that’s hard to beat. The real question: can they solve the case before someone else gets burned?
Bumster's quirky crew residing at Sunset Palms Trailer Park are busy doing their normal: porch talk, gossip spreading, and watching. As in the first installment in this cozy series, characters are fully fleshed out and, well, full of character! You can always rely on someone giving you a good laugh in between all the chaos. Plenty of life in the Park with the yard flamingos, BBQ potlucks, bingo and gossip. Short, snappy chapters keep the pace brisk pulling readers right into the middle of the fun (and chaos).
Bingo, Bodies & BBQ Sauce is a charming start to the Sunset Palms Trailer Park series - part cozy mystery, part small-town romp, and all heart. If you’re looking for a quick, lighthearted whodunit with plenty of laughs, Cassie Rae and the Sunset Palms crew are well worth a visit.
