Devil's Sweetheart

Being friends is easy. There's no strings, no weird after math. Just simply coexisting together in a town that will siphon your money for rent alone. Being friends means we can talk about our latest hookups, even if they ended badly. We can talk about our families, our lives, how our day is...everything without complication.

Then I opened my eyes. If I had to exist without him, it wouldn't be one worth living. He completes me. Only, I may have waited too long to tell him.

She's never noticed me. I make a move then get pushed right back into the pit of friendship. I can't tell if it's on purpose, or simply because we've known each other almost all of our lives. We were in diapers together, learned to walk and talk. Even had the same teachers throughout school.

She's my world. I wouldn't exist without her. She wonders why I'm so put off by others...I only see her.
