The epic conclusion of the Royal Ballet Presents trilogy. I devoured the story of Enzo, Marcella, and Lucciano.
Marcella suffers from PTSD and throws herself into dancing as a way of coping. Enzo and Lucciano (Lucky) become obsessed with her, watching her dance the same way a snake is tranced by a flute.
I loved the trauma rep and how the authors addressed it. Marcella's feelings and healing journey felt real and relatable in a some ways.
The brothers obsession and the spicy moments were perfection. I adore Lucky; he's messed up but still tries (ahem, tries) to make some morally good decisions. Enzo is the crazed brother and I had a love-hate relationship with his character lol.
I had an issue with some parts leading to the conclusion of the story but I loved how Marcella (with the encouragement of crazy Enzo) embraced the darkness. A great ending to a fabulous trilogy.
*Huge thanks to Amy and Aurelia for sending me an early copy
