Alright, let me just rip the band-aid off: I felt guilty writing this. Truly. Like I was confessing to a crime I didn’t even commit. Because after The Wasp trap and The Psychopath Next Door? Yeah… my expectations were basically orbiting the North Pole. My bad. What do I know anyway, right?
This one felt like a Christmas thriller on speed. I mean that in the nicest, slightly chaotic way possible. I inhaled it in under an hour. Honestly? Took me longer to write this review than to read the book — which says something, I guess.
