Casted's main character is Jade, her parents died and at twelve years old she was left to fend for herself and on the run from the Triad. She didn't know why all the bad things happened to her and finally met two girls who she settled down in an a cottage with. Her friends were Spell Casters, Jade was not, or so she thought. This was until she was hunted again, she was saved by other Spell Casters and she was told who she really was.
From then on in things got a little crazy, she falls in love with Edge but is it only because they are pre-ordained. She has a book absorb itself into her mind along with a mystery woman who was from the Original coven.
During this time she is in even more danger as the Triad want the book, so not good news for Jade as the Triad are now killing coven members all over the world to find Jade.
Can Jade get the book and woman out of her head? Will she escape the Triad? You will have to read it to find out.
Wow I loved this book, it flowed at an even pace, there was never a dull moment and when I had put the book down I was left wanting to read more, so I did.
The detail in this book was fantastic and I felt like I got to know every character really well.
What a great debut and start of the series from Sonya Loveday.
