a nightmarish and impressive read
“Air Conditioned Nightmare” by David K. Slater is dark, haunting, and unsettling. Poor Daniel—I truly felt for him as his life unravels and he seems to be losing his mind. Sick, trapped in a job he hates, and convinced his apartment is haunted, Daniel’s descent is disturbing and intense. The sickness in his head is chilling, making this a nightmarish and impressive read.
