One of those dark romances that made me question why I'm into morally reprehensible guys.

Scream Snowdrop is the second book in the Royal Ballet Presents series but can be read as a standalone. It follows Maeve, a car thief /Ballerina. She delights in her criminal behavior because she wants an escape from being the "almost perfect" daughter who does as she's told. She draws the ire of Cygnus, the big bad boss man of the city and resolves to find solace in her stepmother but only finds her former stepbrother, Diego.

I was a little perturbed by Diego's actions towards Maeve and his reasons for it but I was also weirdy into it? That's when you know the bully Romance part is popping! The revenge Plot was good but I found some parts predictable. The push-and-pull between Maeve and Diego was hot; insane chemistry but they refused (at first) to give in.

I fricking loved this book. From Maeve's "hidden identity being a car thief and her rebellion against being a Sinclair to Diego's unhinged obsession with his former stepsister-turned-wife. The tattoo scene? Dios mio
