Lost Souls: A Faerie Tale (Faerie Tales)
I know I’m not Einstein level genius, but I like to think I’m smarter than the average human at least.
And since I was forced to grow up fast, I did tend to have more wisdom than most of the adults my age. This week though? I think I proved to be the dumbest human alive.
I know it’s never a good idea to talk to Fae. I also know you don’t make deals with them, follow them anywhere, or eat their food. And yet here I am, in Faerie, making deals and following Fae to try and get back to Earth, all while eating their food so I don’t starve on my bizarre journey.
At least I didn’t tell anyone my real name.

⭐️ARC READ ⭐️
I was very lucky to get this as an arc read, I didn’t know until the end of the book that it was part of a series so I read it on its own and it was fine. I will be going back and reading the other books in the series.
It starts off with Sarah and her life on Terra (Earth) and how her upbringing wasn’t the greatest. She is living in her RV and traveling when she meets what she begins to call “Shadow” because that’s how she sees her on Terra. “Shadow” needs help getting home as she can’t go home by herself and doesn’t completely remember where home is, Shadow only has bits and pieces of her memory of where she comes from.
Sarah as having “Terra Magic” agrees to help Shadow and bring her home thus entering Faerie.
While in Faerie she meets Aza which beings a love story and as the story progresses they both learn that Sarah is not only just a “human-born” as she is quickly adapting to life in Faerie but that Sarah is the long lost Queen of Twilight. As her great-grandfather was from Faerie before he made his way to Terra, eventually (obviously resulting in Sarah).
So as we watch Sarah and Aza’s love story continue to come together we also get to watch Sarah take back her rightful place on Twilight’s throne. And work to fix the broken that has come since there was no ruler.
This was also the first story I have read that includes Japanese wording throughout so that was really cool to me, I loved learning the words and what they mean. It was a really great part.
I look forward to going back and reading the other books that are part of this series that came before this book.
