Beautiful Doom

3.49 stars. Not quite enough to round up to a full 4. The first half dragged and the characters felt really forced and disjointed. The second half was actually pretty good. I did really enjoy the premise of using the original fairy tales, with the gruesome endings, rather than the Disney ones. I’ll read the sequel because I need to know how it ends, but it won’t be my most anticipated read on my TBR and this isn’t one I’ll re-read. Unique concept, though, which I appreciate.
