“Trust No One” by Caleb Crowe is a suspenseful psychological thriller full of deception and lies. The story follows Grace, whose struggling team brings in Oliver, a coach meant to help turn things around. But Oliver’s dark obsession with Grace quickly shifts from support to control. As her life begins to unravel, Grace is left questioning who she can truly trust. Gripping, tense, and chilling—this one will keep you on edge until the end.

Caleb Crowe has done something seriously impressive here. Trust No One is the kind of psychological thriller that gets under your skin and refuses to leave. I'm talking about the good kind of discomfort, where you're squirming but you absolutely cannot stop reading.

Grace is such a relatable character. She's stuck in a toxic work environment (been there, right?), being bullied by colleagues, on her last warning from her boss, but she needs the money for university. Then Oliver shows up as an executive coach, and Grace thinks maybe this is her chance to turn things around.

Except Oliver isn't what he seems. At all.

What starts as professional coaching sessions quickly morphs into something way darker. The way Crowe builds the tension is masterful. You can feel the control tightening around Grace page by page, and honestly? It's terrifying because it feels so real. This isn't some over-the-top villain twirling a mustache. Oliver's manipulation is subtle, calculated, and disturbingly believable.

The twists in this book absolutely blindsided me. Just when I thought I had it figured out, Crowe threw another curveball that had me gasping out loud. And the pacing? Relentless. I stayed up way too late finishing this one because I simply had to know what happened next.

Crowe's writing is sharp and gripping, and he's created characters that feel genuinely three-dimensional. Grace's struggle feels authentic, and watching her navigate this nightmare kept me completely invested. Five stars. This one's going to stick with me for a while. I received a copy of this book from NetGalley and Inkubator Books, but this is 100% my honest review.

This inviting cover says it all. Trust No One.

My favourite type of book is one with complex characters who keep you wondering who you can rely on, and then just when you decide, pulls the rug from under you! It took a while to get into this one, but once it got going, I enjoyed it immensely.
