His Perfect Darkness A Dark Billionaire Romance
The Stalker: The first time I saw my little bird, I knew she belonged to me. She's new to the city, all alone. She doesn't know who I am, but I've been watching her. Stalking her in the shadows, keeping her safe. Killing anyone who threatens her. I've built a cage around her, luring her in. And when it's time to reveal myself to her, she won't be able to escape. In every way, she will be mine.

This was a good dark romance with an unhinged billionaire stalker who takes "touch her and die" to a new level.
I loved Inara's personality and the growth of the character, especially considering her traumas and how she used BDSM as a cure of sorts. To the outer world, she's a detective but inwardly, she deals with psychic visions and refuses to get close to anyone.
Cue the billionaire and vigilante Rex Roy. Obsessed since he first saw Inara, he watches her every move and doesn't hesitate to maim or kill anyone who messes with her. Once they finally meet, the chemistry is undeniable and the cat-mouse games had me smirking at my Kindle.
The push and pull between them as Inara attempts to do her job and solve the case while Rex toys with her. The moments of vulnerability between them during their scenes. The slow burn that builds to a raging fire?!? The plot was great, the spice was great, and then the damn cliffhanger happened. Needless to say that I will be reading the second book immediately.
