I really liked a lot of the ideas here but I felt like there was too much given over to the relationships between the main characters (and the usual romance tropes) that the world building suffered for it.
I loved the idea of the Reapers and the Taken and how they arrived. But there were a ton of unanswered questions that I think need answering! The ending also felt very rushed.
Now do keep in mind I don't read YA dystopian. I suspect that this is a pretty good example of the genre which is why I'm not really knocking it. But I wish there had been more on the world and the lore and less angst between the characters
